Bon Jovi
Arena
AufSchalke, Gelsenkirchen
May 30,
2003
Here are some of my Bon Jovi pictures.
As expected, they are pretty horrible!
I didn't think I was allowed to take
my digital camera or any kind of
camera into the arena, but just in case I
brought a disposable camera.
Later at the concert I even saw people with
video cameras. Next time
I'll know better and I'll be
prepared!

The big "Arena
AufSchalke" is normally a soccer stadium.
Its capacity is about 65,000
people and, of course, by the
time Bon Jovi started playing it was
packed!

My best friends
Annette (left) and Nicole.

The top of the
arena's tent-like roof can be opened,
which is a really good idea when it's
almost 90°F outside.

At least you
can get an idea of what Bon Jovi's stage looked like (sort of).

In the middle
there were three clear roof-like structures,
almost like at a bus
station.

They had
close-up live pictures of Bon Jovi on several screens that were
moving up
and down the middle section of the stage.

you an idea what you're supposed to be looking at in
the previous pictures.
