We are honored to welcome business coach, speaker and author Simon Vetter as our guest speaker tonight. Details below!

We're looking forward to seeing you!
Guest Speaker At Our Meeting Tonight: Simon Vetter

November 20 (Tuesday)
6:30 pm
Kansas City BBQ, 610 W. Market Street, Downtown San Diego

We are fortunate to have Simon Vetter come to our club and speak with us at our meeting tonight. Simon Vetter is an expert in branding, marketing, and focus' on specific growth items which everyone can use in their life. He will touch upon a few of these areas through his talk. Here are some of his goals when he speaks and works with clients:

"My goal is to provide knowledge, tools and strategies for individuals to stand out: How are you perceived? What is unique about you? How are you different from the many others in your field? What do you offer that is valuable to others?

Over the last years, I have studied the fields of marketing, personal branding and behavioral change. I found that three things makes a person stand out:
          1. Know yourself, your unique talents and strengths
          2. Effectively market yourself
          3. Continuously learn, improve, and develop yourself."

Mr. Vetter will be addressing these issues and will enlighten us on how they can help us in our professional and personal life. This will be a very beneficial for all that are interested and we recommend that anyone who has the chance to see him should. There are a lot of people out there who can benefit from what he has to say. Check out Simon Vetter's website for more information.

If you have any questions, please e-mail James Holland. Also check out our club's website for more upcoming events and speakers.

Please join us tomorrow night and don't miss the chance to hear our exciting guest speaker Simon Vetter! All of your friends, family and colleagues are also welcome to attend our meeting! Feel free to forward this message to all you know! We are looking forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday night!

J4JD 2007 - Flyer

Jazz for Juvenile Diabetes is closer than you think! We have pinned down the following details to make this event the best this club has ever produced: Jazz for Juvenile Diabetes (benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), December 1st, 2007, 6-9 PM, The MINUS 1 Lounge at the Keating Hotel, 432 F Street, Live Jazz Music Featuring the Elliott Lawrence Trio. Tickets will be sale at meetings but also through the website via PayPal. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the week of the event.

Our Beneficiary: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes is a disease which strikes children suddenly and requires multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump. Insulin, however, is not a cure for diabetes, nor does it prevent its eventual and devastating complications which may include kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, stroke, and amputation.

We are looking forward to a great event in an exciting venue with great food, live music, and friends!

Dues Are Due!

It is that time of year again...

Current Rotaract members,
The semi-annual dues are $30. The dues go to help subsidize the many community service and social events that occur throughout the year. These events include the Rancho Jireh Picnic, the ice cream social and bingo at the senior center, as well as many more.

For new members, once you have completed your membership requirements, there is a one time initiation fee of $28. This fee goes towards a snazzy Rotaract t-shirt, pin, and certificate. In addition, new members will also need to pay the $30 for semi-annual dues. The total amount for a new member is $58.

You can pay your dues by attending a general meeting and giving a check or cash to the Treasurer, Steve Goodall. You can also pay with your credit card or bank account through PayPal.
