September Dinner/Drinks Social: Altitude Party!!!

September 4 (Tuesday)
8:00 pm (after the meeting)
Altitude at the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter, 660 K Street, Downtown

Head over to Altitude after the Rotaract meeting on Tuesday, September 4th. Approximately 8:00 pm. No Cover... Named one of the best new bars in the world. If you have any questions, call the social chair Ryan Crawford at 262-331-3587. See you there!
September Social: San Diego Padres vs San Francisco Giants

7:05 pm first pitch
Petco Park, 100 Park Boulevard, Downtown

Let's go to the Pads vs Giants game!!! Right Field Upper Reserved Tickets at $12 (or best available in the $12 price range at the time of purchase) need to be prepurchased to sit together. We have 19 people interested in 30 tickets so far. You must prepay for the tickets by the 8/21/07 Rotaract meeting with tickets bought on 8/22/07 and distributed at the 9/4/07 Rotaract meeting.

After the game is 90's Retro Night – brought to you by 91X – with great music from the '90s at the Park in the Park.

Annual Rancho Jireh Picnic

September 22 (Saturday)
11:00 am - 3:00 pm (approximately)
West Mission Bay

Come help host our annual Picnic for Rancho Jireh Foster Families. Lunch will be donated by KC BBQ. E-mail Dean Koci to volunteer to run a children's activity.

JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes: First Official Rotaract Walking Team

October 14 (Sunday)
Check-in starts at 7:30 am / Walk starts at 9:00 am
UCSD campus, School of Medicine lawn

Sign up to be on Rotaract's first official walking team for JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes (5k). More information on JDRF's San Diego Chapter website.

Attend the annual District 5340 Foundation Seminar, Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Salk Institute. Our district is known for the amazing things we have accomplished all over the world! This is a great program for red badgers and new Rotarians to attend. Check in and breakfast at 7 am, program begins at 8 am.
    We are fortunate to have PDG and Regional Rotary Foundation Chair Nick Phillips of District 9270, South Africa, as the featured speaker. Nick will talk about the AIDS Orphans Relief Project.
