On December 1st, 2007, the Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego will
hold its Sixth Annual Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes event in Downtown San Diego.
Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes 2007 is a jazz concert (and great party) featuring a
live performance by The Elliott Lawrence Trio. This year the event moves to the
MINUS 1 Lounge at The Keating Hotel. Eat, drink and dance to some great music
and all for a worthy cause!
Each year, Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes
benefits the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation San Diego. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
(JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile)
diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes
and its complications through the support of research. The San Diego Chapter of
JDRF serves all of San Diego County and extends north to Orange County. The
Chapter provides valuable information about juvenile diabetes to people with
diabetes, their families, and the general public, as well as raising
much-needed funds for diabetes research.
Take part and help raise funds
for this great organization by purchasing your tickets today. Entrance tickets
are $25 per person. All tickets purchased the week of the event are $35, so
make sure to buy yours early. Raffle tickets are $5 (5 for $20). Both can be
purchased online through PayPal using your major credit card or bank account.
Tickets will be held for you at the door, so you don't need to worry about
shipping. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event, but
there is a possibility that it will sell out. To purchase tickets, please go to
our webpage.
