Volunteers Needed: Christmas on the Promenade

December 08 & 09 (Friday & Saturday)
NTC Promenade, Point Loma

As you all may remember, one of our last guest speakers at our meeting was Adriana Herrera from Kids Included Together. They are hosting an event the first weekend of December called Christmas on the Promenade. The event benefits Kids Included Together, a local non-profit group supporting the inclusion of children with disabilities in community programs, and several other local non-profits. Adriana is looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the event including activity booths, Breakfast with Santa, gift wrapping station, etc.

If you would like to volunteer, please email Cade or call her at 858-705-1575. You can also download a volunteer form here.
Jazzed about Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes 2006

The Fifth Annual Jazz for Juvenile Diabetes was a night to remember. Gathering in a new venue, guests enjoyed the smooth notes of David Patrone & his musicians and the tasty libations at the Karma Lounge. Many tried their luck in winning some tempting raffle prize packages and bidding on enticing silent auction items. Final numbers are still coming in, but even without that, we know the event was a success. Event photos will be posted on the club website soon. We look forward to presenting JDRF with a generous donation to help fight Juvenile Diabetes.

Huge Thanks go to Fundraising Chair, Andy Gerber, for his leadership and organization in heading up this year's fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who attended, bought raffle tickets, and made donations.
We greatly appreciate your support!
