| 3rd Annual Life Skills Scavenger Hunt:
Recap Thank you to all of you who turned out for the Life Skills Scavenger Hunt last Saturday. The day started off with a little rain, but luckily cleared up in time for the teens to begin their hunt downtown. Several volunteers met at the Toussiant Academy in the morning to begin the job fair complete with job applications and interviews. In the afternoon, the rest of the volunteers arrived to take their positions such as customer service agents, credit card solicitors and human ATM machines. The event was a great success and really a beneficial tool to help these students learn some of the challenges we all face as we move out into the world. Thank you again! |

Nunu's, 3537 Fifth Avenue, Hillcrest The October social event for The Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego is the Culture & Cocktails event at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park. This was a social in July and it was a lot fun. The art museum turns into a club with a DJ, drinks, and performers.
