On December 1st, 2006, the Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego will
hold its Fifth Annual Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes event in Downtown San Diego.
Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes 2006 is a jazz concert (and great party) featuring a
live performance by San Diego favorite David Patrone. This year the event
moves to a larger stage than ever before at the Karma Lounge, downstairs at On
Broadway Events Center. Eat, drink and dance to some great music – and all
for a worthy cause!
A sales representative from Silpada Designs will have a table set up to sell fine sterling silver jewelry, great for holiday gifts! A portion of her sales proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition to the proceeds from this event participation, check out what Silpada is doing to support JDRF! Our Beneficiary Each year, Jazz For Juvenile Diabetes benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation San Diego. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The San Diego Chapter of JDRF serves all of San Diego County and extends north to Orange County. The Chapter provides valuable information about juvenile diabetes to people with diabetes, their families, and the general public, as well as raising much-needed funds for diabetes research. Ticket Information Take part and help raise funds for this great organization by purchasing your tickets today. Entrance tickets are $30 per person for Rotaract members, and $35 for non-members if purchased in advance. All tickets purchased at the door are $40, so make sure to buy yours early. After 10:00 pm, your event ticket is good for the access to all areas of On Broadway for the rest of the night. Raffle tickets are $5 (5 for $20). Both can be purchased online through PayPal using your major credit card or bank account. Tickets will be held for you at the door, so you don't need to worry about shipping. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event, but there is a possibility that it will sell out. To purchase tickets, please go to our webpage.
