New Year from Rotaract! Welcome to 2006, Rotary's 101st year! Please join us Tuesday, January 3rd, for our first meeting of 2006! 2005 was a landmark year for the Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego and we thank you all for sharing it with us. We have even bigger and better plans for 2006 and we're jumping right in and getting started. You won't want to miss a single second of the action so please mark your calendars for our first meeting of the year:
We will start the New Year off right with some champagne and New Years' Resolutions. Start thinking about some great resolutions – we'll be writing them down. Don't miss it! And to humor you... a funny word from Jay– "Now there are more overweight people in America than average-weight people. | Miracle
Gathering in the Gaslamp January 08, Sunday Rock Bottom, Gaslamp Quarter The Rock Bottom Foundation presents the second annual Miracle Gathering in the Gaslamp, a post holiday celebration for 350 homeless and displaced families and teens from Father Joe's Villages. The guests will arrive by luxury bus to Rock Bottom in the Gaslamp Quarter, where they will enjoy a special meal and receive a variety of special gifts. Also, each guest will have the opportunity to make a long distance telephone call, enjoy a video game room and visit with a strolling magician and clown. The Rock Bottom Foundation appreciates the help of volunteers to help make this awesome event happen.
