"What's Happening in San Diego"

Featured by the CCDC
August 17th (Tuesday)
Have you ever wondered about what's new and what is coming up for Downtown San Diego?
Sheila Hardin of the Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) will be leading our Rotaract group on a San Diego bus tour, highlighting the development of retail, residential, office, hotel, cultural and education projects and improvements of the Downtown area.
This bus tour will replace our 2nd meeting of the month and we encourage everyone to put it on your calendars now. This is something you will not want to miss! We will still be meeting at KC BBQ at 6:30pm, and heading to meet Sheila at 7pm.
Other information about the CCDC may be found on the website: http://www.ccdc.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/resources.info
We'll talk more about the tour at next week's meeting. But, be sure to mark your calendars in advance for the 8/17/04 tour.
Any members, prospects or guests to our meeting that night are welcome to join. You won't want to miss it!

Rotaract & Rotary Trivia

What is an MDIO?
An MDIO, or Miltidistrict Information Organization, is a group of Rotaract districts that function as a regional administrative center. Coordinated by Rotaractors and approved by the RI Board, MDIOs disseminate information or facilitate communication between Rotaract clubs in the participating districts. Over the last 10 years, Rotaract MDIOs have been a driving force in enhancing communication and promoting Rotaract awareness and growth in many regions of the world.
