Rotaract & Rotary Trivia

How is a Rotaract club made "official?"
Once a Rotaract club has achieved a strong membership base, it must apply for a charter from Rotary International. The Rotaract Club Organization List (with contact information and the signatures of the sponsoring Rotary club president and the district governor) needs to be filled out and has to be sent, along with the equivalent of a US$50 chartering fee, to RI World Headquarters or the RI Service Center in the Rotaract club's area. After the information has been received at Rotary International, an official charter certificate will be mailed to the president of the sponsoring Rotary club. A special ceremony or celebration should be considered to present the charter certificate to the Rotaract club.
